Work closely with CMO, CFO and the CEO to have a successful new program/product launch.

Benner China and Glassware is a manufacturing and decorating factory, in the Jacksonville area, serving the US and Canada. Reporting to the CEO/Pres., my VP responsibilities included all e-commerce sales, accounting, production, operations, customer service, catalogs, billing, order fulfillment, logistics, and all HR, hiring, payroll and benefits, and raising funding.

Level3 Communications/TelCove – Regional Director of Sales/General Manager Jacksonville, Fl. 2003-2008 Sales Director/GM for Level 3 Communications. Ran Jacksonville, and several other Southeast markets. Responsibilities include sales, operations and support for these markets. Manage all budgets, EBITDA and P&L.
Recruited, hired, trained, motivated, coached and mentored Excellent Sales Teams! Increased Jacksonville’s EBITDA more than $500K per month in just over 3 years. Increased our type one to type two ratio by over 50%, to achieve 91% type 1 circuits and over 300 on net buildings. Took Jacksonville from the 37th ranked city out of 41, to the top 5 out of 71. Ranked the number one Director/GM in the Southeast Region 4 years in a row.
Cendant Mortgage (PHH), Merrill Lynch Division - Director - Merrill Lynch Mortgage Originations 2002-2003
Hired as the Director of the Call Center for the outsourced division of all of Merrill Lynch’s Mortgage Originations during one of the largest re-finance booms. Managed more than 350 call center sales representatives, and over 11 sales managers, supporting over 45,000 Merrill Lynch Financial Advisors nationwide. Created sales incentives, training programs, created sales targets, and managed software for call center management. Handled elevated customer issues/requests. Created a full audit team to evaluate and improve quality assurance, and insure all truth in lending laws, resulting in increasing sales and decreasing customer complaints. Conducted sales trainings, sales presentations, and addressed teams weekly, created PIP plans, and reduced turnover rates and recruited. Also created a team approach to learning and improvement with mentoring and partnership for managers to increase quality and sale closing ratios.
DuroCommunications/Volaris Online – Executive VP – Commercial Services 2001-2002
Hired as a Sr. Executive and Officer by the CEO to overhaul and recreate the Commercial Sales force, and Channel partnerships, and presence in the Southeast. Responsible for all business sales and commercial services company-wide for complete commercial product lines. Departments included sales, customer service and technical support call center, port wholesale sales, web hosting sales and service, inside sales, field operations and installations. Within 6 months, these initiatives resulted in the largest market’s sales increasing by over 223% in new MRR and total comm. Sales increasing by over 160% new MRR, while continuing to be under budgeted expenses month after month. Wrote 2002 and 2003 commercial services forecast and budgets. P&L, EBITDA, financial responsibility for this division of the business. Recruited, hired and trained all levels, from Director to sales executives in multiple cities. Created new compensation and commission plans, sales models, forecasting and funnel reports, PIP program, pay dirt objectives, tele-prospecting and cold calling initiatives, renewal program and procedures, referral program, and a technical sales training program.
Participated in all Sr. Management activities and meetings, conducted All Hands Meetings, created company churn and marketing initiatives, revised company AUP, and implemented programs targeting long-term employee development and coaching. Left due to company acquisition by Expedius
Bluestar Communications/COVAD – RVP/SVP - Jacksonville, Fl. 1999-2001
Hired by and reporting to the CEO as Regional VP to launch start-up company providing new DSL technology, ISP, and ASP services, beginning in Florida and Alabama with few employees. Aided in the company’s growth to over 1,500 employees and promoted to Sr. VP shortly after the COVAD/Bluestar acquisition. Responsible for the East Region’s direct sales, operations, engineering, installations, network build out, customer service, new city launches, marketing, budgeting and administration. Managed and oversaw East Coast consisting of numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier cities, including RVPs, Regional Directors, SMs and AE’s as well as operations, sales support and administrative and marketing personnel totaling over 400 employees and a budget of several million/mo. Fluent in composing and implementing compensation, HR and commission plans, promotions, local marketing programs, job descriptions and PIP Plans for company-wide rollout. Successful management of P&L, EBITDA, and other budgetary, motivational and management objectives led the East region to consistently produce the greatest percentage of total revenues for Bluestar.net. Hired regional staff to help manage and train personnel to meet sales, operational, budgeting and marketing initiatives. Left shortly after COVAD acquisition.
