Professional Experience
Quality Nurse Consultant Level 1
1/2015-present Regional Quality, Accreditation, Regulation and Licensing Department functioning as RN Consultant for our E-Hospital Safety Program and Advanced Alert Monitor programs. E-Hospital Safety Program partners with Patient Care Services to identify care gaps, improve patient outcomes and promotes an open dialogue with local leaders to support current and evolving initiatives to ensure safe quality care for all patients. This is accomplished using remote surveillance to detect care gaps that can be corrected in real time.
Advance Alert Monitoring program is a statistical model that can be used to predict an individual’s likelihood of deterioration. Proactively identifies patients with elevated risk of mortality or up transfer to ICU. We partner with Rapid Response Nurse and Hospitalist remotely and call on all patients who are identified has elevated risk. Both programs require review of charts and assessment of patients using critical thinking.
