Maintenance:

Ensuring maintenance schedules adhered to: game drive vehicles serviced, cleaned and fueled; sewerage drains pumped; gas bottles stock management; geyser elements cleaned/replaced; generator serviced; maintaining level of chemical usage for laundry, housekeeping and other Departments

General:

Following up on all sales leads to enhance business sales; responding to all emails and general enquiries

Maintaining a history update of guests

Assisting receptionist with group check-in

Dealing with guest queries and complaints

Taking reservations when Reservation Officer required assistance

Assisting with all Curio stock arrivals from Head Office – pricing and placing in shop

Overseeing all game drive bookings, including ensuring drivers on time and all Food and Beverage requirements for drives were up to standard

Managing an a la carte restaurant, with 120 seats; menu planning

Purchasing of all stocks for bar, kitchen and restaurant

Arranging all functions – weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, BBQ/buffet dinners

Stock-taking: daily stock control of kitchen and bar stock with handover of shifts; weekly and monthly stock-taking of bulk stores and bar, restaurant and kitchen; ensuring stocks correctly issued and returned; ensuring stocks locked away and secure and issued in according with menu planning, menu specifications and dish recipe quantities

Communications meeting between all Departments, including daily morning meetings with all staff

Liaison with Government and Corporate business
