Design outside & inside plant, green field & brown field, copper/fiber plant, including engineering, permitting (ULA & PLA), contracting and designing new building adds and existing facility relocations.

Responsible for design – Familiar with TELUS, SHAW, ROGERS, BELL standards, use SpatialNET, my world, drafting (AutoCAD & Microstation), CET (common estimating tool), material order (SAP), setup milestone dates, development of complex outside plant equipment installations, modifications and upgrades.

Use GIS mapping and Gero database (IMAGE/SpatialNET/My world) for design (Rogers and Telus projects) .

Performs site surveys to collect, analyze and organize basic engineering data to develop design layouts and prepare all engineering documentation required for a complete functional design.
