Planned, managed and executed the Electrical Safety group’s ERP iSeries (AS400) move to an upgraded platform. By reusing un-used Honeywell resources, a savings of over $1 million for new hardware, as well the elimination of $500,000 in annual IBM maintenance charges was achieved. Completion of this project resulted in 80% improved transaction speeds, and the removal of many process bottle necks.

Managed the Electrical Safety group’s main Windows file and application server upgrade from OS 2003 to 2013. In addition, migrated server platform from multiple standalone units to a single unit using VM’s. This improved the systems’ storage and response time resulting in reduced access time for external users (from minutes to seconds), while also improving Honeywell standardization and security.

Monitored & managed several sites’ bandwidth usage resulting in 4 upgrade projects allowing sites increased access speeds and response times.

Proposed and managed site Wi-Fi installations re-using hardware from site closings. This resulted in saving both money and time in getting the Wi-Fi units installed.
