Free State Growers is a wholesale production greenhouse providing annual, perennial, floral and holiday plant needs. They are one of the largest tropical & foliage growers in the Midwest.
• Collecting crop data to include graphing and pictures
• Maintain records of crop schedule and activity

• Maintain pest scouting schedule for assigned crops as well as assigned areas

Urban Harvest STL’s internship program focuses on nurturing leadership skills in community development with an emphasis on urban farming.
• Periodically cared for hydroponics systems: planting,harvesting, testing PH
• Fertilizing soil with the correct rates
• Managed 5 different farms, three of which are rooftops.(roughly 15,000 sq ft)

The Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation’s oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Land- mark.
• Tested all sprinkler zones
• Collected data while the sprinklers were running in order to calculate the output dispersion pattern and flow rate
