I support the Department of State Bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM)Telecommunications, wireless and Data (TWD) Division and provide its users with mission critical LAN/WAN data and voice services across multiple locations in the DC Metro Area. I support the DOS Vanguard Program service management Office (SMO). My duties consist of implementing and maintaining voice and data network circuits and equipment. I maintain and configure IP VOIP, digital and analog phones and extensions. I perform routine and complex administration of Avaya voice switches and voicemail systems. Trouble shoot and resolve voice service outages and update documentation as needed in a separate data base. I identify out-of- sync conditions between separate data base system with telephony information and actual telephone switch. I’m experienced on Avaya gateways: G650, 450 and 430. I have experience with all the Avaya products and peripheral equipment from 1A2 to Communication manager 7.0 and terminals from analog to VOIP.
