ACTIVITIES AWARD
•Used ArcMap and ArcGIS online to make web maps that showed signing project status statewide.
•Stylized the basemaps and Categorized the Traveler Resource database for the Minnesota Great River Road.
•Managed the Traveler Resource database for the Great River Road Minnesota without any errors.
•Used SQL to determine the road sign status and find out the shipping cost to replace the damaged road signs underthe state highway system and local road system which saved the project over halftime and $2000.
•Built the “Plan Your Trip ” web applications and story maps to enrich the traveler's experience and significantly improved satisfaction.
•Created the "Plan Your Project" GIS web applications and successfully improved the efficiency and effectiveness of officials to serve residents, businesses and global travelers by incorporating this context into transportation scoping, planning, design, construction and maintenance activities.
•Collaborated and communicated with other state agencies (DNR, MNHS, Department of Agriculture), local government(Lake city) and Native American tribes(Leech lake reservation) to update the database.

•Statistics Project: Comparing Study Hours Between US and International Students Collected survey answers in the university and used R Studio to analyze weather US or international students spend more hours studying per week.
•Functional Website Project: Living Guide for New UMN Students Created a website that assists new coming UMN Students to find a place to live and provide traveling, shopping & eating guide around campus and posted on CSSA UMN website in 2014.
•Demographic Project: Distribution of Asians in Seven County Metropolitan Areas Created a database model and Used PostgreSQL to find the spatial relation between the social demographic of Asians with the environment (waterbodies, road data) in the Seven-County metropolitan area in Minnesota
•Traffic Analysis Project: Impact of Construction on Traffic Flow Compared and contrasted Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT) from 2013 to 2015 to determine the traffic volume changes before and after the construction by creating database model with tools which assisted the metropolitan council’s decision making on road project.
•Design Project: Data Visualization of Police Violence in the United State Designed a prototype web page to visualize the Police Violence data in the United State from 2013 to 2017 on InVsion.
•Geo-Visualization Project: Bird Migration from North America to South America Extracted geo-location data by Python from the Argentine Barn Swallows to track the migration patterns for multiple samples and plot on the world map.
