RBC Insurance: July 2012 to current

PROJECT 1: SYSTEM MIGRATION: The objective of this project was to enable smooth transition of client accounts and all of system functionalities from existing AS400 to new system GUIDEWIRE. RBC Insurance had formed a partnership with AVIVA and as a result all of RBC Insurance existing client accounts had to be moved to AVIVA system.

PROJECT 2: SALESFORCE ENHANCEMENT: The objective of this project was to manage and enhance Salesforce, to ensure full utilisation and tailoring of the platform to match and support business objectives, using agile techniques and strategies. The enhanced version will allow advisors to navigate from Client’s Salesforce account to Home and Auto Insurance business software called GUIDEWIRE. This will cut down on advisor time and effort of duplication efforts and will also eliminate possibility of multiple accounts being created for same client within Salesforce. Client accounts were to be traceable by client name, address, postal code and phone number.

A vital part of the project was training Salesforce to users across the business and being the SALESFORCE champion.

PROJECT 3: EASY MORTGAGE RENEWAL IMPLEMENTATAION: Implementation of RBC mortgage renewal tool E-Hub by allowing advisors to explore and tailor various mortgage renewal options for their clients as they approach their mortgage maturity date by calculating and comparing rates and duration based on client needs.
