I would maintain between 700-900 inmate files, records containing tests, certificates, demographic forms, drop forms, plus copies of GED Certificates for those students who passed their GED test. Assisted teachers, volunteers, and other departmental employees in procuring materials for classes, plus I assisted the Registrar Secretary with inmates academic records, and scheduling. I incorporated my own design on certificates for inmates after they completed their classes such as Alcoholics Anonymous, 12 Steps, religious classes, etc. Screened potential GED candidates each month and administered Pre-GED tests to determine if they were ready for testing. St Philips College & NISD both tested 15 students each month and we averaged 13 graduates per month.
