Regional Maintenance Manager / Keolis Transit America (formerly Tectrans)

• The first Corporate Maintenance personal that started various QA efficiencies, Collective Data Software System and coordination of maintenance policies and procedures within the company.

• Responsible for oversight of daily maintenance operations of all Vehicle Maintenance Facilities providing the tools, equipment and resources to assure full compliance at every level.

• Maintain direct responsibility for supervision of complete vehicle maintenance program and procedures at all Maintenance operations. Maintain company maintenance standards to exceed customer expectations.

• Coordinate and implement standardized vehicle maintenance programs in the region. Communicate with local operations staff in the region via phone and email to ensure safe and cost-effective maintenance of fleet vehicles.

• Coordinate and implement cost effective vendor management policies and procedures in the region. Work closely with local operations staff in the regional via phone and email to maintain positive and cost-effective vendor relations.

• Establish and maintain effective maintenance data collection procedures and reporting, including full implementation of computerized or computer assisted systems. Work closely with operations staff to complete roll out, configuration, routine daily use, and reporting of vehicle and maintenance information at region terminals.

• Perform onsite inspections at operating terminals in the region to evaluate current and ongoing compliance with applicable safety standards, maintenance standards, regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures. Work closely with maintenance staff at local operating terminals, to provide active support, training, and recruiting assistance as needed.

Maintenance Manager 2008-2010

• Responsible for daily operations of Vehicle Maintenance Facility and maintenance of 125 Paratransit equipment assigned to the company’s contracts with the North Los Angeles Regional Center, Tri-Counties Regional Center and Playa Vista Shuttle.

• Provided all vehicle preparation planning and organization for new project start up in March 2008, including set up of a new maintenance facility.

• Responsible for coordination with the CHP to insure highest level of compliance with a proven track record of exceptional terminal inspections.

General Manager / Southland Transit, Lancaster CA 2006-2008

• Overall responsibility for daily facility operations providing services to The North Los Angeles Regional Center Antelope Valley, Kern County Regional Center and ADA Access Services contracts.

• Responsibilities include driver recruitment, training, dispatch, billing, monthly reporting and Overall Maintenance Oversight. Maintenance Manager/ Lead Mechanic 2001-2006

• Responsible for daily maintenance of Paratransit equipment assigned to the company’s contracts with the North Los Angeles Regional Center, Kern Regional Center, Tri-Counties Regional Center and ACCESS Services contracts.

• Provide all vehicles preparation planning and organization for new project start up in September 2001, including set up of a new maintenance facility.

• Responsible for daily maintenance of transit and Paratransit equipment assigned to the company’s contracts with the City of Los Angeles, California State University of Northridge, Monrovia Dial-Ride, Arcadia Dial-Ride, West- Covina Fixed and Dial- Ride.

• Started as a service worker and progressed to a C Mechanic, B mechanic, A mechanic and then night lead mechanic.

• As a night lead mechanic was responsible for PM scheduling, response to the driver’s daily defect reports, insuring that the service workers refueled all vehicles, washed vehicles according to schedule and insured that fare box vaults pulled and secured.

• Responsible for response to driver’s problems that occurred on late routes after staff hours.

• Managed move of the shop facility and the relocation of the maintenance equipment when the facility was relocated. Education
