My duties include drawing patients in their home setting, weather that be in their personal home or in an assisted living facility, processing that blood when I return to the lab, spin the specimen, and filing.

My duties included not only drawing blood in the hospital, I prepared it for processing by the lab, I filed documents, and set up the morning runs for the oncoming phlebotomists. I resigned that position after breaking my ankle and was going to be unable to walk on it for several months.

As well as drawing blood in a clinic setting, I also entered patient information into the computer, hand writing requisitions when the computers were down, venipuncture on infants to geriatrics, as well as processing the specimens to be picked up and sent to the main testing facility. I also preformed urine drug testing and traveled to other Quest facilities to help where it was needed. * From July 2010 to November 2010 I was employed by Aerotek which is a temp agency that Quest uses. I resigned this position due to personal health issues.

I drew blood in a hospital setting, including but not limited to morning fasting in patients’ room starting as early as 4am, emergency room draws and working in the outpatient lab. I resigned this position because I moved too far to travel the distance to work.

I worked in public schools as a Clinic attendant, administered daily medications to children as prescribed by their doctor as well as attending to the medical needs that happened on a day to day basis. This position requirements changed and I was no longer qualified.

BMG AT DR. UDELL OFFICE

Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant

As sole phlebotomist on staff, I scheduled and preformed all office lab work as prescribed for BMG patients. I also prepared it for pick up and filled in at the front desk with scheduling and billing. I was also his medical assistant two days a week. Which included weighing patients and disguising their concerns, and taking blood pressures, pulse, and temperature. I was let go when BMG broke up and the doctors all went to other group practices.
