My primary responsibilities are to ensure that each client receives the best possible workout that I can provide for them with enthusiasm, leadership, and strong customer engagement. Daily tasks included making sure the gym and equipment were clean and safe for members to utilize, being knowledgeable about the body and being able to adapt workouts to client needs, being a strong motivator and leader, and being able to communicate effectively with clients to support their needs and goals. Duties often included scheduling appointments by making phone calls to potential clients, going out in the community to promote our services and demonstrate our skills, and helping set up fundraisers and special events to assist our community.

HAMILTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION – CONTRACT INTERIM TEACHER / FALL 2009 – SPRING 2011

Responsibilities included working both independently and collaboratively with my grade level team to plan lessons, grade and review work by students, discuss feedback on lessons and evaluate student performances, work with students and parents to receive the best possible outcome for student success. Daily I would need to adapt lessons to the needs and goals of my students, assess their work and performance, adapt to emotional needs of students, develop fun, creative, and engaging lessons, obtain or develop appropriate learning materials, prepare for different types of learning amongst students, and interact with parents/guardians. Stayed organized and managed lessons for an array of different types of learners, while being able to adapt quickly and make complex material engaging were also tasks handled regularly.

GAPS IN EMPLOYMENT SPRING 2011- FALL 2016

I took a career sabbatical to raise a child; this included homeschooling for preschool. Although I was on a career sabbatical, I acquired the following skills during this time, which I believe will help me in the workforce: organizing schedules, managing time effectively, adapting to unexpected changes quickly, managing finances, managing household, and multi-tasking.
