EARLY BUSINESS VENTURES

I was the owner of State Street Clothing Corp, a regional chain of menswear retail stores where I was inevitably responsible for all aspects of running multi-unit business, including bookkeeping, buying, merchandising, advertising, hiring, firing, growing revenue, customer relations, inventory control, vendor relations. I also founded SimonsClothing.com, an ecommerce site which brought a long-standing retail business online, reaching thousands of new customers weekly. Managed merchandising, copy writing, promotions, online advertising, SEO.

I founded Reflex Marketing, a software development company focused on delivering a groupware product to bring the organization and functions of groupware to the non-enterprise market. I raised money from angel investors, supervised product design and development, handled business planning, research, and presentations to industry and venture capital groups.

With Guildford Hall Development, a started a real estate development venture, acquiring, financing and developing commercial real estate in the Boston metro area.
