ACADEMIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE

1.Final Year Project.

Actuation of fuel pump using strain gauge induced seat belt – Ashok Leyland Ltd., Ennore.

This is the advancement of the previous project. The drawbacks were corrected and the system is made much more precise by the use of strain gauge sensor implanted seat belts. Thus this sensor ensures that the seat belt is worn during driving by controlling the fuel pump of the vehicle.

2.Semester-4

Design and fabrication of seat belt controlled fuel pumping system in automobiles.

In order to decrease the injury rate during accidents seat belt must be mandatorily worn by the person. The aim of the project is to make people wear the seat belt as a mandatory one by controlling the fuel pump of an automobile. The pump will not function if the seat belt is removed.

PAPER PRESENTATIONS

Presented a paper on “seat belt controlled fuel pumping system in automobiles” at Sri Venkateshwara College of engineering on 31st aug 2016.

Presented a paper entitled “Actuation of fuel pump using strain gauge induced seat belt” in the national conference on advances in mechanical engineering NCAME’17 organised by dept of mechanical engineering, T.J.S Engineering College on 31stmarch 2017.

PUBLICATION

Published a paper on “Actuation of fuel pump using strain gauge induced seat belt” in INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ADVANCED RESEARCH IN BASIC ENGINEERING SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY (IJARBEST), vol 3 special issue 33 dated March 2017.
