I believe that I am well qualified for this position based on my clinical background and experiences in providing care for adult and geriatric patients in both acute and chronic setting. I became board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner on July 19, 2018. I have been working as a registered nurse for fourteen years. My fourteen years of experience strengthen me in caring, managing, and decision making with acute and chronic patients. I played a major role as preceptor for new nurses. My goal is allowing the young nurses grow and meet their professional goals. I serve as charge nurse on 34-bed Medical-Surgical Geriatric unit and a 62-bed Progressive care unit (PCU-Telemetry unit). I communicate effectively with my co-workers, physicians, patients, and their families. I have clear knowledge and experience with the Electronic Medical Record system. I do not allow challenges prevent me from maintaining a positive attitude at all time. I like learning new things and ready to adapt with changes. My goal is maintaining a great work environment and getting the job accomplished in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Medstar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC) is my place of work starting March 2007 till present. The Washington Hospital Center is located in the center of the District of Columbus (DC) near the Nation Capital.
