Manager, HR

Led the HR integration for MACOM acquisition of HSOR division of Luna. Effectively led implementation strategy including cultural strategy, benefits, and pay analysis.

Streamlined Immigration cases by defining policy, weeding out unrelated costs, as well as streamlining communication to prevent turnover risk for critical Foreign National resources. Project Managing Immigration

(handling more than 60 immigration cases). Complete overhaul, defining policies and procedure, eliminated bottlenecks and unrelated costs leading to better retention and morale of mission critical Foreign National human Capital.

Oversaw transfer of employees from Luna’s sale of HSOR business to MACOM. Involved in benefits comparison, policies and absorption strategy for MACOM. Partnered on devising and executing acquisition plan, strategy and initiatives. Integral in leading the HR strategy. Worked under TSA between MACOM and Luna to provide full scope HR functional and strategic support to Luna until Feb 2018.

Manager HR and Benefits

Worked for API from 2011 until Luna acquired API in May 2015. Post acquisition, led Luna’s HR and Payroll team for Luna’s 7 locations (including California, VA locatons, Quebec and Ann Arbor locaton). Singlehandedly managed Human Resources strategy and

functional tactical decisions for HR and Benefits for all Luna locations totaling 270 employees.

Decreased the total number of employee relations cases by driving process improvements and established policies as needed.

Successfully transitioned all Luna locations to the same benefits platform as well as HR policies.

Successfully strategized and worked with Legal on lawsuit involving disclosure of proprietary information, non solicitation, and non compete clause of the employment agreement. This prevented poaching on our competitive edge. Novi, MI 734-***-**** PAGE 2

Created and implemented boarding processes, policies and streamlined guidelines and procedures.

Successfully implemented California compliant HR paperwork and processes based on California laws.

Reengineered the benefits function when I took over Benefits role in 2012 for API. Introduced changes in benefits systems leading to a radical shift in cost approach by implementing HDHP plans. Achieved 100% satisfied absorption of HDHP plan strategy and this led to savings of 70K every year. Savings by moving to HDHP plan in 2012 were more than 200K.

Successfully project managed the transition of plan custodian for 401K while reducing plan fees, leading to .65 basis points reduction in overall plan participant cost.

Reengineering benefits strategy in 2014 to reduce renewal from 12.8% to 8.5%. Then again in 2015, consolidated plans to reduce Luna’s renewal for VA based benefits from 30% to less than 4.5%. This led to Luna’s renewal from 30% to 4% by merging all benefit plans under same platform in 2015 resulting in considerable savings and retention for Luna workforce.

Took over California Sexual Harassment prevention (SHP) training and saved the company 10K per year. Savings for Michigan location approx 5K.
