As facilitator, oversaw the completion of a case study for all manual Journal entries done within Canada and successfully transferred them to off-shore finance operations in Manila, Chennai, Karakas and Glasgow for the Global SAP implementation.

Performed analysis to establish the magnitude of work across CoB/F onshore and offshore that included the number of MJE’s and users thereof. Data was extracted from JDE and monitored on monthly basis.

Identified potential issues, provided recommendations and monitored the migration on an ongoing basis, applying corrective actions to ensure timely implementation.

Worked closely with the Local Project Manager to manage local delivery against the plan.

Considered the impact of the local integration points within the plan to ensure impacts of delays/issues. Communicated and mitigated all Cob/F in a timely manner.

Built and maintained effective working relationships with management, business and project staff.

Ensured that the needs of all functional areas were understood and properly supported within the various implementation teams amongst all 250 MJE users, both onshore and offshore.

Successfully achieved the following goals of the Analysis:

oMinimize/reduce MJE’s before go-live date and ensure all MJE’s are performed by off-shore finance operations.

oDocumented the end to end process of all MJE’s by CoB/F in a simplified format already established.

oConfirmed the findings with end users and ensured all end users were able to manage their new processes; Ensured successful knowledge transfer completed within departments.

oFinalized a materiality policy for Canada based on the global policy.

Organized and helped execute training of a user base of 250 employees. Was deeply involved in equipping the Finance Operations trainers to successfully implement this task.

Successfully completed project to convert fixed asset and project module from JDE One World to SAP, detailing business requirements which could then be translated to concrete software implementation, drawing on my talents of excellent presentation, documentation, record-keeping and staff training.
