General Plant Manager / Quikrete Companies (2016 – 2018) – Received a severance check, due to corporate cutbacks.

-P&L responsibilities over Manufacturing Plants and Offices, Staff of (35) with (10) Direct Reports. I directed and managed all Policies and General Company Objectives, General Manufacturing, Financials, Engineering, Accounting, HR, General Operations implementing short / long term goals, thus increasing Productivity from 48% to over 84%, managed the Maintenance Dept., Planning / Scheduling of QC, Inventory Control - Audits, Transportation / Supply Chain Logistics Management and worked with VP’s in the region / customers daily.

-Negotiated complex contracts, implement KPI’s and manage Lean Six Sigma practices and work with Customer’s daily. *Note: I increased Production from 48% UPMH to 84% UPMH, decreased all wasteful spending, negotiated PO’s / Contracts and increased Profits and Morale.

Project Manager / DuPont-Chemours Chemicals Corporation (2014 - 2016) – When Chemours Chemicals acquired the Memphis, TN. DuPont location, all DuPont Contractors were no longer needed and let go.

-Worked with all facets of General Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Engineering and PM to enhance Facility / Plant Operations, Transportation Planning / Scheduling and Supply Chain Logistics and Inventory for multi-sites.

-Provided Sales and Project Management to provide all disciplines required technical information.

-DuPont-Chemours Specialty Chemicals provides Specialty Chemicals worldwide. Some of the Chemicals that I was a Senior PM over was that of (SCN), (HCN), (OXONE) and General Power / Services. I worked with all the key players and hired key staff. I have left this Company because my Contract was completed during the buyout phase with Chemours. Managed General Office / Plant Operations.

(NGL) Field Operations Manager / Linde Process Plants (2014 – 2014) – Received a 6 – week’s severance check, due to corporate cutbacks from Munich, Germany.

-Hired and directed Field Construction Site Managers and their subordinates within each active Natural Gas Project. Directed the General Manufacturing Operations, increased Production by implementing / achieving both short / long term goals, Lean Six Sigma Practices, Purchasing of all Materials and managed Planning / Scheduling, Transportation / Supply Chain Logistics, TQA and Safety.

-Have successfully developed great working relationships with all Clients and Construction Field Staff through my Business Development skills.

-Reviewed and modified Project Scopes and internal Documentation.

-Have implemented a Cost Savings plan for an excessive reduction in Company Truck allowances in Construction Field Operations. Was the ISO 9001 Rep. *Note: Increased Productivity and Profits within numerous Projects and managed Contracts, Contractors and Subs.

GENERAL MANAGER / Industrial Air Corporation (1984-2005 / 2009 – 2014) – Obtained world-wide corporate positions as work would slow down, due to economic conditions. Managed (300)+ Union / Non-Union Managers, Supervisors, etc.

Assisted with the Owner in enhancing existing business, implementing / managing a more productive environment by way of achieving short / long term goals and sold new business development to EPCM Customers in Industrial Specialty Chemicals and Distribution environment and managed P&L. Some of the Chemicals that I was a Senior PM over was that of (SCN), (HCN), (OXONE) and General Power / Services.

-Started at the bottom level of the Company and worked my way up to the General Manager. Hired, trained and placed key Staffing in their proper skill set areas. Directed Operations and managed General Organization Policies / Procedures, Engineering, Plants, increased Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory / QC Control and Scheduling for Steel Fabricators / Erectors on-site nationally / internationally.

-Managed General Transportation Operations and implemented a Lean Six Sigma culture.

-Promoted from the bottom level to the GM. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work within various types of Industries for the past (25) years.

General Operations Manager / GEA Bischoff, Inc. / Lurgi, Inc. (2005 – 2009) – I was told that I would have to move my family to Baltimore, MD., due to this would be the new US Office and could not get my family to want to move up there, so I respectfully resigned. Managed (300)+ Union / Non-Union Managers, Supervisors, etc.

I worked with Lurgi, Inc. for (6) months and was promoted to its sister company at the time – GEA Bischoff, Inc. Directed General Operations and managed Sales, Procurement, Production – Distribution, Inventory / QC Audits / Control and worked with PM’s, Engineers and Steel Fabricators / Erectors in each Project. Worked in EPCM Specialty Chemical Projects and the Chemicals that I was over was that of (SCN), (HCN), (OXONE) and General Power / Services.

-Sales: I participated in Sales / Contract negotiations with several North American Companies for each Ethanol Plants and Gas Emissions Controls. Sold and worked in an Ethanol $100MM USD Plant.

-Sales Growth: Increased sales by 25-30% across the board by increasing existing business and obtaining new business. Was the Supply Chain Logistics Manager and the ISO 9001 Company Rep.

Owner / CEO / General Mechanics, Inc., Olive Branch, MS. 38654 (1990 - 1999) - Sold my business in ’99.

Successfully owned, operated and sold a Heavy Custom Steel Fabrication and Distribution Company where I operated part-time and Distributed Specialty Chemicals, Aviation – GSE, Automotive Parts, etc.

I had P&L responsibilities and obtained / sold to industry leading customer’s, hired, trained and managed engineers, supply chain, personnel, contractors and subcontractors in the evenings, nights and weekends to supplement my income. I successfully sold this Company in 1999. Implemented and managed short / long term goals. Managed (300)+ Union / Non-Union Managers, Supervisors, Subcontractors, etc.

-Sold to Customers and successfully operated this Custom Steel Industrial business on my own. Through my Sales skills / abilities I managed to obtain and sell to such industry leading customers as FedEx Corporation, Northwest Air Link, DuPont Chemicals and others. I hired on contractors and subs to perform the labor / work while I obtained new business and increased existing business. Some of the Chemicals that I distributed was that of (SCN), (HCN), (OXONE) and General Power / Services.
