Oversee daily operation of approving permits for sewer connections, distribution and infrastructure; including over 200 plans per week for backflow prevention devices for protecting the NYC drinking water system
Approve plans for House Connection and Temporary Site Connection Proposals, Internal Water Mains, “Dewatering” and other permit issues. Supervise and Conduct Construction Compliance inspections
Worked with the Dept. of Transportation on street drainage and ground breaking permits for sewer repair.

Manage Cross-Connection Control and Enforcement Section installation of backflow prevention devices
Provide “Safe Work Place” training for staff, and complete annual incident report details as required by law.
Inspect connections for issuance of Certificate of Inspection needed for a Certificate of Occupancy required by the NYC Department of Buildings for Construction Compliance with approved plans, as well as “Tap” letters.
Issue Violations, Orders and Notifications to non-compliant facilities. Follow-up with ECB, Cease & Desist.
Liaison with the NYC Department of Buildings on the “Get It Done” program and the web-based “Hub” link
Managed and supervised an awarded contract for $595,250 to inspect and review over 10,000 backflow plans
Remediation Plan review, approval and compliance inspections for underground storage tanks, and site work.
Developed and Implemented new policies for fire sprinkler supply systems and protection requirements.
Discharge Permits and Dewatering approvals for Brown Fields remediation, and site clean-up for development.
