PROJECTS

Project #1: BNW for Yellow Book USA in HIBU (earlier known as Yell adworks) Description: BNW stands for Brand New Workflow. This is used to manage all business-as-usual operational process in Ad works around the world. It is a subsystem of a larger business application. BNW has features to help provide large media file content in a timely manner to users working remote from the main storage of the files. This large file content includes documents, pictures, video files etc. There is another application integrated to BNW app called clipper. Clipper is used to create and track the status of all the media file contents. BNW app is able to manage different kinds of media products. Different workflows are configured in the application for different products for the ease of work. Responsibilities:

Understanding the requirements, drafting Test Scenarios and Test Cases using QC. Performing manual testing (Agile Methodology Approach), GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing. Identifying, escalation and reporting of issues and tracking the issues to closure. Following complete Bug life Cycle using JIRA. Used HP QC throughout the project.

Project #2: PST-Pricing and support Tool for Logica UK Description: The PST (Pricing Support Tool) is a software tool which works on standalone Systems

(Windows application) which will cost and price the proposal that is delivered to customers in order to win business. It costs resources, services, suppliers, manages financial provisions and liabilities along with contingency and some assumptions and hence determines price and profit. It will produce timeline based profile of streams and proposition and will enable audit traceability. It enables systematic transfer of all proposal information to project methods to support the current definition of Logica’s business processes.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the requirements and writing Test Scenarios and Test Cases. Performing manual testing (Agile Methodology Approach), GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Installation Testing, Standalone applications testing.

Timely escalation and reporting of issues and tracking the issues through to closure. Following complete Bug life Cycle using TRAC.

Generating Bug Reports using bug-tracking tools for Windows and Web applications. EDUCATION

QAI certified CPST certification in Software Testing. A first class degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from St. Joseph’s Engineering College affiliated to V.T.U.
