Integration Planning for Supply Chain

Lowe’s has total of 1850 stores and the objective of program to optimize the demand and forecasting process. This program is estimated to save Lowe’s more than $1B in 5 years. Lowe’s forecasts more than 72 weeks for its inventory system. It takes the sales history from the stores daily and apply the business logics to forecast the inventory in various DC, RDC and DFCs. This contains more than 35 applications that are integrated to provide the specific input to business.

Overall responsibility to deliver the program in time on schedule.

We had total 145 gaps/CRs was identified by business as part of JDA implementation

SP - Release 6

The objective of release 6 is to allow customers greater flexibility in the ordering process as well as providing employees with better tools to assist the customer. This is very big program of $600 m that Lowe’s initiated in the year of 2010. I have played multiple role in this program.

This project will support the mission of the SP5 program by supplying necessary product information to Sterling selling tools (Call Center and Store) and through enhancements to the Catalog Management environment

GBI Mexico

As part of retail expansion Lowe’s had announced plans to open stores in Monterrey, MX. in 2010. This expansion began with a “pilot” effort involving the support of two stores in Monterrey. Approximately 600 Suppliers, residing in Mexico, the United States and other countries will be engaged to provide merchandise to stock these stores. Purchase Orders will be sent, Invoices received, and Advance Ship Notices (ASN’s) received to facilitate the procurement, payment and tracking of these items. Lowe’s Mexico is assumed to be a self-contained business unit with limited centralized functions and corporate oversight within Lowe’s US. Lowe’s Mexico will be using the Oracle Retail applications for managing the purchase order, merchandise invoicing and advance ship notice functions.

Worked as Test Lead for entire program along with worked as Project lead for EDI webforms development.

VRP is the core application that supports Hartford Life’s individual annuity products with an approximate active contract base of over 1.5 Million contracts. VRP supports approximately 1300 users, 800 concurrently. Multiple sessions are allowed per user to help increase productivity and flexibility. The VRP database contains around 900 tables with 10,000 columns. Some tables contain more than 70 million records. The front-end has approximately 100 windows (Forms) and over 1200 database packages and procedures.

This device used by FedEx Courier individuals to carry out all the operation in the field and hub. This device transmits tracking number along with transaction details to mainframe server via wireless network to make easy the process of tracking shipment.
