Manager of Direct Marketing/Brown Jordan International, Jacksonville, FL
I started out as team of one working in a manufacturing/sales-driven environment with no formal marketing department or plan in place. Phase one of my role with BJI was to build a centralized marketing database; conduct opportunity and market analysis; and provide a framework to segment the company’s target markets and create a centralized marketing plan. Phase two of this role as Strategic Marketing Team Lead was to successfully hire and build a centralized marketing department across five brands and four key markets.
Major accomplishments: Hired and activated a five-person marketing team; developed and implemented digitally-focused marketing plans and content creation strategies for all brands; built a relational marketing database to better leverage customer, prospect and third-party data; and implemented HubSpot across 5 brands as part of marketing automation centralization (yielding a 30% decrease in costs, and standardized operating platforms).

This consulting engagement took a deep dive into the company’s product, financial, and marketing performance. From product revenue relative to costs … to marketing channel analytics and email metrics, customer retention, and list performance, this scope of work was designed to yield observations and recommendations that enabled the client to enhance their marketing efforts and increase revenue/ROI.

Director of Business Development/EB Medicine,
This position entailed oversight and management of three key areas of the company. Business Development which included build-out of strategic relationships with external organizations and strategic planning for corporate growth. Marketing Management encompassed development of marketing and product budgets; planning and execution of multi-channel, multi-media campaigns; staff oversight; and brand management. Sales Management included hiring and oversight of a sales team; pricing strategy; compensation structure development; budgeting; and CRM implementation.
Major accomplishments: Drove a 17% increase in sales from 2015 to 2016 with a 70% increase in group/site license sales 2015 to 2017.

Marketing Consultant/Quantros, Milpitas, CA
The full-time consulting position with Quantros entailed project management, marketing staff oversight, marketing planning and execution, and sales pipeline development.
Major accomplishments: Developed four educational audioconference programs; set up lead gen programs through Marketo and Salesforce; managed and drafted PR; and developed the project plan and conducted interviews for a case study with a leading NY hospital.

This position involved build-out of a coordinated marketing strategy across all three divisions of the company (publishing, software, and consulting), and corporate assessment to identify marketing, sales and operational areas that could benefit from enhancement or change.
Major accomplishments: Identified cost saving and revenue growth areas; built the strategy for and implemented a renewal plan for Panacea’s products and services; established a lead generation program for sales teams; and provided guidance for content development.

This role encompassed marketing oversight and management for multiple brands and AHC business areas. Major accomplishments: Started lead generation program for group/bulk sales team driving increased sales; built strategic partnerships with key industry organizations; evaluated performance; and re-allocated resources from poor performing products to products with growth potential.
