Professional Background

I have currently completed my master’s degree in Nursing with the national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Family Practice as a Family Nurse Advanced Practice Provider. Through medical and healthcare clinics and via training, I received extensive training in diagnosing, training with identification in multiple complex needs and comordities in individuals, and their unique health care management needs of the client within the full age/range spectrum. The training and treatment management was also used to treat these complex disorders for overall health promotion. Also, through women’s health needs, I learned added knowledge to identify specific gynecologic needs, but as an acute health care provider with most of my experience being in an acute care patient or client advocate, I have extensive training in providing quality care to the individual and their family members. I am currently employed with Christus Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler, where I had started in the MICU/SICU units and am currently working as a staff nurse on their accredited Spine and Joint floor. Christus Trinity Mother Frances is a Magnet Hospital that provides beyond exceptional care that I have had the pleasure in passing over this fantastic care and treatment steps in every client I encounter. I recently graduated with my master’s degree through Walden University with a national certification in Family Nurse Practitioner.

My medical training has allowed me to experience and within so many different areas of interest, it has been a pleasure to serve clients and their family members. I also, graduated with my Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler, in August 2005. Prior to this date, I received my Associate Degree Nursing license and certification from North Central Texas College in Gainesville Texas in June of 2000. I also spent 3+ years during this time working as the Trauma and General Surgery Case Manager at a Level 2 Trauma Center at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas. I also have many years of experience as a charge RN, relief charge RN and nursing student clinical instructor for Level 4 nursing students for their Leadership courses within The University of Texas at Tyler system. I currently have some management experience and skills and have enjoyed this leadership with other employees and staff members. I am looking to gain employment as a medical provider with a focus on family health. The focus has transitioned from bedside to now being able to care for these individuals as an Advanced Practice Nurse Provider.
