The 17CY Program is the next generation telematics solution designed to provide Safety/Security, App Suite, Navigation Services, Remote Services, Wi-Fi, and Dealer Integration for Lexus and Toyota vehicles starting April 2017. It includes Customer Registration Service as part of 2017 Calendar Year (17CY) Multimedia (MM) for Toyota and Lexus vehicles, setting up the Next Generation Multimedia Services (17CY MM) program for CVT. Putting in place all the architectural and operational components that would enable these services, including ability to sign up for and manage these services, dealer assist and customer assist registration, data sync, account management.

Telematics Service Provider application being built by SXM, UIE and TSC will interface with TMS applications – CPD, TESS and Customer Central. EIG will be protecting TMS services and will handle message transformation and intelligent routing as applicable. MQIPT Gateway implemented first time in Toyota as part of CY 17 project that enhances MQ based security features for TMS. JSON Web token based OAUTH security pattern developed

ESB is retired by Jan 2016 and migrated to data power. Non-Mainframe systems don’t support ESQL code so Getshow2 needs to be re-written to support the migration. The service needs to be migrated from mainframe to Java servers for better control on the infrastructure and minimize dependency. This was developed in two phases. Monolithic service build phase for existing consumers & Microservices build phase for new consumers
