It includes Customer Registration Service as part of 2017 Calendar Year (17CY) Multimedia (MM) for Toyota and Lexus vehicles, setting up the Next Generation Multimedia Services (17CY MM) program for CVT. Putting in place all the architectural and operational components that would enable these services, including ability to sign up for and manage these services, dealer assist and customer assist registration, data sync, account management.
Telematics Service Provider application being built by SXM, UIE and TSC will interface with TMS applications – CPD, TESS and Customer Central. EIG will be protecting TMS services and will handle message transformation and intelligent routing as applicable. The service needs to be migrated from mainframe to Java servers for better control on the infrastructure and minimize dependency. This was developed in two phases.
