o Managed day to day operations of main propulsion and auxiliary systems onboard vessels including sanitary, heating ventilation and air conditioning, fire detection and suppression, and electrical distribution.

o Oversaw engineering department of between 15-35 personnel in all aspects of daily work assignments, maintenance, major shipboard evolutions, and emergency drills.

o Managed inspection, cleaning and welding repairs to over 80 tanks, voids and cofferdams during USS Mount Whitney 2011 dry dock, requiring coordination between contractors, shipyard officials, U.S. Military representatives and ship’s crew.

o Coordinated requirements with vessel Port Engineer to ensure timely work packages were in place for contractor support of routine and emergent repairs.

o Oversaw maintenance repair and overhaul of numerous engineering projects on multiple classes of vessels in ports around the world including main engine overhaul on USNS CATAWBA, Boiler inspections onboard USS MOUNT WHITNEY, Sea trials aboard USNS JOHN ERICSON, and light off assessment aboard USS INDEPENDENCE o Led team of 60 reservists during military exercise on the Korean Peninsula in 2015 working with representatives from all branches of the US Armed Forces and personnel from the Korean Army and Navy. Awards

o Awarded $2,100 cash reward for management of all tank cleanings during 2011 Viktor Lenac dry dock period for USS MOUNT WHITNEY (managed over 80 separate tanks and voids)
