Professional Experience & Key Achievements

Comerica Bank - Data Center, Auburn Hills

2012 - present: Application Programmer Senior II / Assistant Vice President

Automated travel and expenses interface while switching to a new vendor - and also achieved efficiencies through lower costs - by incorporating this function into the already-established Accounts Payable system.

Retrofitted the Change Control interface from Service Desk to Service Now application - a vital action that avoided the halting of mainframe development organization-wide.

Averted the loss of vendor support by installing the upgrade to the Reconcilement System (FISERV) in on a Windows platform.

Professional Experience & Key Achievements

Comerica Bank - Data Center (cont'd)

2009 - 2011: Application Programmer Senior

Built an entire application - from concept to full operation - in only 3 months (a task that would normally take between 4 and 5 months) so that management would receive the necessary reporting with no interruptions - even in the face of vendor switching and halted support.

2001 - 2009: Technical Professional

Appointed to serve on the Imperial (California Bank) conversion team during a mergers and acquisition phase so that this new bank was consolidated and rolled into Company's operations.

Personally sought out by a Business Area Manager to capitalize on mainframe savvy in co-performing a time-sensitive GEAC upgrade (Dun & Bradstreet) for Millennium, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets. Even with upgrading more than 2,000 elements, completed this ambitious project nearly 2 months ahead of original target date.

Drafted by another Business Area Manager to function as sole Technical Project Manager for the Fraud Link (Carreker) upgrade comprising between 800 and 900 elements. While rolling this out, also created custom code for custom reports, and upgraded it on top of itself to further mitigate risk.

Simultaneously developed a key interface from Fraud Link into Digital Harbor via MQ (an IBM product) to heighten fraud detection.

Completed a Fraud Link upgrade in just 75% of the hours allotted where 2 Fraud Link systems (old and new) were online at the same time.

Cloned the Fraud Link system for use by the Compliance (AML) clients (involving hundreds of elements) to plug loss gaps across a myriad of transactions - especially useful around income tax time.

1997 - 2001: Senior Information Systems Analyst II
