Formatted raw data from legacy systems into data files which were loaded via SQL*Loader, PL/SQL, and Impromptu into Oracle and Cognos PowerCubes; from which canned and user-developed ad hoc reports where created using Cognos PowerPlay. Also, at user request integrated GIS MapInfo with Cognos PowerPlay to show data geographically. Tuned the application with the database to improve database performance; Performed cold backup and recoveries for the Oracle database when errors occurred.
