KEY RESULT AREAS

Talent Acquisition:

Oversee and manage the recruitment and staffing programme for the region - providing manpower planning support to the Hiring Managers and Projects Teams, coordinating large scale mobilisation projects, interviewing with Hiring Managers and making hiring recommendations.

Establish competitive Agreements /Contracts with approved Recruitment Agencies and Job Portals

Ensure that accurate job descriptions are available for each vacancy and full business approval is in place

Negotiate Terms and Conditions and work proactively with the HR Support Team to prepare contracts and amendment letters for new and/or existing employees.

Support the starters and leavers process, including development and implementation of on-boarding and induction programme for new joiners. Complete exit interview analysis to enable the business to understand and respond to reasons for turnover.

Employee Relations, Talent Development and Engagement:

Manage the Employee Relations Programme for the region

Serve as a liaison between Management and employees by managing and resolving grievances (complaints) or other complex employee queries/work-related issues.

Manage Disciplinary issues

Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, facilitate staff performance reviews in conjunction with line managers as required.

Drive key HR initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, training and development, annual surveys and key employee communications.

Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation of employees

Manage Local Health Screening Procedure

Responsible for setting standards and auditing camps and employee accommodation

Follow Site Safety Procedures

Compensation & Benefits:

Stand responsible for all local Compensation & Benefits structures and Employment contracts.

Accomplish the salary review process in accordance with corporate policies and directives.

Conduct local salary surveys, benchmark and recommend annual CPI etc. Create, run, analyse and report salary information.

Work with the HR Support Team to ensure that payroll and any employee benefits are managed in a timely manner

HR Policies and Systems:

Operating HR best practice ensure that appropriate HR procedures are developed and adapted in the regions in compliance with local legislation and corporate policies, directives and guidelines. Ensure that local compliance standards are being achieved in all respects related to HR.

Be the local employment law ''knowledge expert''.

Endorse usage of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is maximised across the region across all aspects of HR, ensuring quality of data, and promoting the development of the HRIS across the region.

Using the approved HRIS, be accountable for delivering regular reporting and updates (including weekly and monthly reports for headcount; manpower reports etc as well as reports for effective review planning - probation, salary, appraisal, expiry dates etc.

Provide HRIS Training locally to all users.

Performance Management:

Managing the objective setting, mid-year reviews & annual appraisal.

Promoting the weekly & fortnightly people development conferences across all levels with cross functional departments.

Launching and aiding mentoring sessions for the workforce.

Assisting in recognizing career opportunities as well as composing individual development plans.

Arranging regular formal & informal communication gatherings such as coffee sessions, town halls etc.

HR Audit:

Managing human resource audit for several in-house projects.

Implementing several ISO based quality standards e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, etc.
