KEY DELIVERABLES
Performed field surveys as well as produced system evaluation reports and recommendations.
Responsible for providing conceptual HVAC system designs for the projects and provided the heat load calculations for projects.
Review of 3D model, production drawings, production BOM / MTO.
Prepare Procurement BOM & give requirement to procurement.
Organize technical discussion with vendors, evaluate offer submitted by the vendor & submit the technically cleared offer to procurement for financial discussion.
Prepare Fire fighting appliances plan, Life saving appliances, freeboard, Insulation, Structural fire protection plan in line with the SOLAS & class requirements.
Worked on HVAC layouts. Finalize AC plant capacity, AHU capacity, duct sizing.
Calculate the Insulation area requirement for the complete ship.
Follow-up with the vendor for submitting technical offer.
To discuss with the owner and take owners approval wherever necessary.
Resolving the site queries and related issue by considering the design change and taking appropriate approval from surveyor and owner.
Conducts regular site visits for design and process improvements.
Attend production meetings with ship-owner and classification society.
Strictly follow deadline of the deliverable documents.
Follow international standards, codes, class rules & prepare checklist for all deliverables.
Implement ISO by proper documentation of drawings/manuals in hard & soft format.
Prepare all the training material / SOP: Train junior engineers, in plant trainee and contractor staff to understand production drawings & SOP.
Monitor performance parameters like timely completion, quality of the drawing & accurate 3D model.
