Review and give approval to all structure shop drawings, agents contract drawings and specifications, formwork and scaffolding shop drawings, soil investigation reports, design note calculation, structural analyses and review and approve the As-built drawings.
Review the technical matters which is facing during the construction and resolved it with the project senior resident engineer, designer and the project director, to ensure that the construction project plans are properly executed and evaluate the effectiveness of controls delineated in the PQP/ITP and implementing procedures
Assist in the preparation of contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other documents or reports required for the Project.
Assist with the identification, development of required procedures and processes related to progress activities and Quality Management System in order to avoid any delay and/or poor quality performance.
Manage/administer construction of bridges and structural components of transportation projects. To ensure compliance with local standard and AASHTO specific regulations related to the quality of product and to the proper performance of day-to-day activities and assist in the continuous growth of the Quality Department
Inspections to assure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and special provisions on all phases of structural construction such as bridges, casting in situ reinforced concrete foundations, pile cap, pier columns, piles, walls, precast segmental bridge construction, falsework works, shoring system, bridges formwork, drainage structures MSE wall, soil improvement systems, PT system.
Coordinate the sampling and testing of construction materials to monitor compliance with contract specifications, plus participate in process improvement teams and/or completes relative documentation when required and Conduct field investigations when needed; produce field reports with detailed sketches.
Document nonconforming material or work clearly and accurately.
Develop and recommend improvements in engineering and design standards to lower cost and improve work quality and facilitate maintenance.
Coordinate with other disciplines and assist lead engineer and/or designer to ensure effective quality product.
Define and review scope of work, prepare engineering estimate at both proposal and design level and schedule for civil/structural engineering portion of work in a project.

1- Louis Berger Company Dubai, United Arab Emirates (March 2016 – August 2018)
Upgrade Junctions at Airport Road Project R1011/2 (2.5 Years) This project consists of two packages 1&2 and the project owners are (Dubai Airport department) and
(Road and Transportation Authority, RTA) Dubai. United Arab Emirates. The anticipated construction cost of the completed the both packages would exceed $ 110.5 million. This project included construction of 8 casting in situ post-tensioning bridges, improvement of Dubai Airport interchanges, building up concrete tunnels, concrete underpass, demolishing and realignment of existing Airport tunnels, construction 65 Miles asphalt pavement, Laing new potable water line, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer, construction drainage pump stations, concrete manholes. As a structural field engineer and assistant resident engineer, Suhaib has been involved presented technical solutions to construction issues that resulted in improved design quality and construction sequencing, review and give approval to all construction shop drawings such as Post-tensioning system, precast concrete, shoring, and falswork, and Utilize 4 scale drawings to develop/check critical bridge grades, also review the progress activities, monitor and track contractor progress. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required and attend the weekly presentation in present of project clients, proposed the technical methodology for construction team, review all temporary design calculation, approve the soil improvement reports. 2- AECOM Middle East Abu Dhabi, UAE (April 2013 – March 2016) Suhaib has been appointed as a structural field engineer over 3 years with Aecom Middle East in two different locations in UAE, his duty included the direct supervision, quality monitoring, projects development, project delivery, programme management and covered the following projects along this period: -
Abu Dhabi Dubai Highway Project (E-311) (2 Years) This project is consisting of two phases A&B and the project owner is (Musanada, Department of Transport) Abu Dhabi. United Arab Emirates, project contractors: Al Ghantoot contractor for package A and Tristar and Salini JV for package B, the total packages estimated coast $ 326.694 million. this project has been integrated in to two package A&B, every package is included construction of 6 casting in situ concrete overpass/ bridges, underpass, building box tunnels, utilities, laying potable water pipe lines, soil improvement by construction of MSE walls system, 95 miles road pavement.
Construction of Bridge & Underpass (E-20) (Nahil project) (1 year) The owner: Department of Transport, DOT. Abu Dhabi, project contractor is BATCO contractor L.L.C Total estimated cost $ 40.8 million. The project included construction of cast in situ concrete overpass/ post tensioning bridge and building concrete underpass, with ceramic tiles cladding, 45 miles road pavement, precast concrete, utilities works, reinforced concrete casting in situ piles, soil improving systems, MSE wall works and other activities which have related to roads, bridges and infrastructure w 3- CDM SMITH Consultant Dubai, United Arab Emirates (September 2007– March 2013) Suhab has been appointed as senior structural engineer over 5.5 years in the Road and Transportation Authority projects, RTA – Dubai government. his duties are included the construction supervision, projects delivery, projects development, quality monitoring, programme management and he is covered the following projects along this period: -
Sheikh Ammar Bridge in Ajman City (1 year)
The project owner is Ajman government, and the project contractor Darwish Engineering.The construction estimated cost $ 27.3 million. This project included construction of two ramps, construction post tensioning overpass/ bridges with 9 stage stressing, construction of cast in situ concrete overpass/ bridge, asphalt road pavement, infrastructure works, portable water pipe laying, soil wall improvement, reinforced casting in situ piles, pier concrete, pier columns. Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) Dubai (1.5 year)
Assistant resident engineer, involved for review and give approval to all structural shop drawings, steel drawings, review the project progress, supervised construction project activities and ensured adherence to scope, quality, standards, and projects specifications plus to submit the report the progress of work to the clients and attainted the presentation as a weekly basis. The project owner is Nakheel and DMCC, Dubai Multi Commodities Center, and the construction contractors are Wade Adam, ASCON and Ali Mosa. Total construction cost ($ 300 million) This project includes construction of two post tensioning overpass/ bridges, 78 miles road pavements asphalt works, infrastructure works, construction of 24 car parks and each car park are consisting of three levels, total concrete quantity 830,000 M3 concrete. Construction of 7 drainage pump station, construction of 3 lakes, footing bridge, water proofing system, laid water pipe line etc.
Improvement of Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashed Road (1.5 years) Project Manager to providing a technical support for the team construction, resolving the technical issues specifically the construction structure problems, assist in the preparation of contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other documents or reports required for the Project, Define and review scope of work, prepare engineering estimate at both proposal and design level and schedule for civil/structural engineering portion of work in a project, and to deliver the project on time. The project owner is Ajman Municipality and project contractor is Darwish Engineering L.L.C. project construction cost is ($ 68.1 million), the project included construction new two overpass/bridges, local roads development, laid new drainage pipe, water line, building roads pavement etc.
Dubai Bypass phase IV. Project R762/1A (1.5 year) Structural field engineer responsible to supervise and construction of two main carriageways, casting in place 3 underpasses, two overpass/ post-tensioning concrete bridges, review and approve all structural drawings, 65 miles asphalt road, improvement soil platform, reinforced casting in situ piles, post tensioning system. The owner is Transportation Authority, Dubai/UAE, and the contractor is Wade Adam L.L.C and the estimated cost: (US $ 71 million).
Dubai Bypass phase III. Project R762/3 (1 year)
structural field engineer responsible to supervise and construction of 6 overpass/ post-tensioning concrete bridges, building of 4 concrete underpasses, review and approve all structural drawings, 65 miles asphalt road, improvement soil platform, reinforced casting in situ piles, post tensioning system. The owner of project is Transportation Authority, Dubai RTA/UAE, and the contractor is AL Nabooda contracting L.L.C and the estimated cost ($ 122.5 million) 4- Engineering Consultant group (ECG) IRAQ (January 2004 – July 2007)

The project included construction of 125 miles roads pavement, improvement local roads, asphalt works, infrastructure works, laid potable water line, Project manager. The owner is Jam Jamal City Council, Iraq and the project cost ($ 796.5 million), the contractor is Hamreen Contracting Suhaib was as project construction manager and his responsibility included projects management, monitoring, develop and recommend improvements in engineering and design standards to lower cost and improve work quality and facilitate maintenance and monitoring adherence of construction procedures, setting up and management of the project progress, delivery project and handover to clients.
