29 Nos. Minor Junctions, 0.45 km Service Road.

Repair and rehabilitation of 1 Tunnel, 3 Major Bridges, 34 Minor bridges and 404 culverts.

Projects Detail:

(A)The Medanta (Medicity) Project is spread over 50 acres in Gurgaon, India, and the highest end of modern Medicare with traditional form of Indian medicine Ayurveda, Homeopathy and holistic therapies.

The total covered area is 400,000 sq. meters.

Built-up floor area of 200,000 sq. meter comprising 1200 beds, 350 critical beds with 45 operation theatres, 13 storied OPD and IPD blocks, 7 storied OT blocks, administration and lounge blocks.

The basement has 3 levels, each heaving a floor area of 16000 sq. meters.

The basement footprint of 18000 sq. meters sits on 2 meter thick raft foundation for 8 numbers of main tower blocks, other blocks have raft thickness lies between 0.3 to 0.9 meters.

Hospital having LPG yard, HSD yard, Oxygen yard and Dock yard.

Total 14 No. of storm water harvesting pits and various lined drains to collect the rain water and clean water storage tanks.

Hospital have a plant room consists machines to clean the rain storm water, electric panel room, DG set foundation and underground cable trenches.

In terms of external development:- Internal access rigid pavement road is 2.7 KM, Two wheeler and Four wheeler ramps and parking yards, parks with landscape to increase the aesthetic appearance of hospital.

(B)New Green Field Airport Pakyong, Sikkim is the first ever green field airport in India which provides air connectivity to this land locked state.

One of the biggest achievement of the project is the reinforcement wall on this project is in 80.38 meter height, one of the tallest earth retaining reinforcement walls in the World.

The airport is one of the five highest Airports in India, which is being built at the perched top, 30 km south of Gangtok at the altitude of 4700 ft. with deep valleys at both ends of the Rigid Pavement runway.

Difficult topography and hostile weather condition make this project extremely challenging and exciting.

The most exciting features of this project which makes it different and unique are:

All the earth retaining wall constructed with Gabion and Green Tara-mesh, RCC is not used to retain the earth pressure.

Load bearing capacity of earth has been increased by using Geo-Grid strips.

To channelize surface and sub-surface water chimney drain has built along the length of project with crushed boulders covers with Geo-Textile and the drain is connected to culverts. Perforated PVC pipes lay across the earth retaining wall connected to chimney drain to drain out sub surface water.

Heavy earth cutting and filling is the eye catching activity of the project.

Successfully Completed the E.D (External development) work like oxygen yard, LPG yard 2.5 km Rigid pavement road, ramps, parking’s and in a PLANT work of dock yard, machine foundations.
