Oversaw the management of over 600 meeting rooms across the Microsoft Campus in South Count Dublin

I was responsible for managing the hotel inventory for the largest tech conference in Europe which took place in Dublin in November 2014. I managed 20,000 rooms in 65 hotels in Dublin, Belfast and Cork for the Web Summit.

I was responsible for negotiating rooms contracts with the identified preferred hotel once I conducted a personal site inspection and I was tasked with selling these rooms of a profit margin of between 50% - 300%.

I achieved a target of 95% hotel sales, the remaining 5% were provided as complimentary rooms to high profile delegates and staff

I received distinction for the professionalism and enthusiasm which I brought to this role from the CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies around the world such as Coca Cola, Facebook, Nasdaq, Intel, PCH and Amazon

I was responsible for developing a digital marketing strategy where I introduced an on-line content management strategy

I was chosen from Ireland to assist with the first opening of the first Ritz-Carlton in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia..

I increased beverage sales by 22% by year end from developing a cost efficient drinks menu & training the staff in upselling techniques.

I introduced a weekly activity list in the bars which encouraged guest retention and increased sales by 11% quarter on quarter

I reduced beverage cost within the hotel from 31% to 24%. This was achieved through strict beverage controls and in training the staff in understanding how to achieve a low beverage cost.

January 2010 – December 2010, Front Office Manager & Night Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt

I was responsible for the end of day audit. This included conducting a cash and credit card audit for all transactions in the hotel so to ensure each transaction balanced and to investigate any irregularities.

I introduced a bedrooms upselling initiative, where bedrooms were upsold to guests at the check-in stage; this resulted in a 14% conversion rate of guests purchasing a superior room when checking into the hotel.

I managed a Housekeeping team of over 50 persons from 12 different countries so to ensure they delivered ‘clinically clean’ service
