Created a recruitment and retention plan and budget for new Medical College at the University of Central Florida from 2007-2012 including recruiting 80 medical faculty members and 120 staff for a clinical practice. Faculty retention rate exceeded goal with 99% retention after five years.

Executed the incorporation of over 300 private physician practices into academic and tertiary healthcare systems.

Successfully negotiated over 30 labor contracts on budget and on time, including 1199 SEIU, Teamsters, Communications Workers of America, and first responder unions.

8 institutions that employed in excess of 15,000 employees – Successfully reversed a constant increase in health care and drug prescription costs by analyzing the five most expensive illnesses and liberal prescription writing by physicians, and implemented better wellness/pre-natal programs with cooperation from physicians, reduced cost increases from 12% to 6% across the board resulting in an average savings of $7.5MM per year.

Successful at creating short-term labor agreements (90 days) in 12 institutions to determine retention of employees with poor work history.

Successful at three Academic Medical Centers at parachuting in to complete three open contract negotiations with AAUP. Each successfully providing significant cost savings to the institutions and exceeding established benchmarks.


Created a portable education program being utilized at 23 Medical Centers currently that encourage employees to elevate their own knowledge through GED, in-house allied health schools, and partnerships with local educational institutions.
