Enhancement of Power Generation from Electromagnetic Scavenging tile.
Abstract: Footstep electricity generation tile is designed with an improvement to power the sensors which consumes a small amount of electricity.Maximum output of 15 Watts is obtained by using both upward and downward motion of a tile. In this permanent magnet synchronous generator is used for its better output and its aptness. Flywheel is used to store required potential energy which was obtained from a human foot applied force and to get maximum inertia as much as possible. Two One- way clutches are used to make the generation smoothly with less damping in bidirectional movements. Energy output in terms of joules, it obtained a peak more than 2 Joules per step. Fast walking force is taken as input for this paper. Di erent
ywheel with di erent inertia were used to generate di erent outputs.
Achieved 15 Watts of generation due to novel formulation which is 3 Watts increment from reference paper and highest till now in that dimensions Team size:1
Development of optical current transformers and application to fault location systems for substations.
Abstract:The authors report on an optical current transformer (CT) based on the principle of the Faraday e ect. The information measured by the optical CT is transmitted to the ground side through optical bers contained in an insulator. An application of the optical CT, a new fault location system, is described. Team size:1

Voltage pro le and loss analysis of radial distribution system in presence of embedded generator with a case study in MiPower.
Abstract:This paper presents the impact of EG on the distribution system voltage, power
ow and losses. The power
ow for di erent power factors of EG has been studied by simulating network in MiPower software. The studies also reveal the optimum scenario required in designing a control loop for obtaining a better voltage pro le and minimize the losses in the power system network. A case study is also simulated showing the essentiality of power system studies for properly planned and operated EG.
My part: I have done simulation by varying values (both practical and theoritical) so that at which point maximum power is obtained and also helped in circuit design Team size:5
Overview of Gas Insulated Substation 132kV/66kV.
Abstract:This paper shows that the analysis of 132kV/66kV Gas Insulated Substation done Erragadda, Hyderabad. The advantages over conventional Air Insulated Substations are mentioned.Di-electric character of SF6 is compared with the Air Insulated Substation along with the economical aspect in all parameters.
My part: I have compared the GIS Substation and usual Substation in terms of losses, design complex- ity, economical aspect with respect to theoritical Team size:5 PERSONAL SKILLS
