I am working with Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies (BUEST) as Assistant Professor and Head of Physics Department in School of Sciences in the School of Engineering & Emerging Technologies of Baddi University from 2nd March 2015 to till date.

Job Duties:

Teach physics to graduate level students and take practice classes of students in physics laboratory.

Prepare research papers and published in international journals and in the proceeding of National/International conferences.

Supervise research students and discuss with students their progress and aspirations, guide for project base learning.

Evaluating and grading of students performance in university examinations, suggest recommendations for further student development.

Teaching summer term class students (classes for the students who failed in some subjects in regular course).

Provide proper guidance and advice to students for their career.

Assess students’ coursework like assignments and project reports etc.

Use behavior modification techniques as a motivator for improving conduct and encouraging participation in curriculum and co-curriculum activities.

2. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra (from 2011 to 2014)

It is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology established and administered by Government of India. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering Sciences and Humanities.

I had worked as a regular Research fellow on paid fellowship project in Department of Physics of National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, India from March, 2011 to January, 2014.
