DUTIES/ ACHIEVEMENTS:
Ensure that onshore/offshore base safety officers are recording, documenting and filing safety statistics and reports and advise on improvements to be made.
Part of a team who made presentations to country petroleum department for the award of contract to Operate and Maintain AJE field project (Front puffing FPSO) to CESL the first in the region.
Provide overall supervision of offshore and on shore HSE officers and Advisors.
Liaise with procurement unit for the procurement of HSE equipment to ensure all industry specifications and legal requirements are met.
Coordinate and carry out joint internal and external audits (DPR, NIPEX and clients) on facilities both offshore and onshore base.
Recommend and Coordinate personnel HSE training needs to Human resources.
Facilitate and moderate in house HSE trainings for staff, contractors and visitors.
Ensure Behavioral Base Safety Program in the office and offshore base are reviewed and improved upon through stakeholders’ meetings, incentives and reporting systems this reduced accidents near misses by over 80%
Coordinate weekly inspection hygiene on all offshore and onshore platforms and review reports for continuous improvements through trainings and peer to peer review which reduced sick calls by over 90%
