Directed internal and external teams that consisted of 200 plus local and international participants to develop mOasis BountiGel® novel technologies providing more effective, sustainable and environmentally acceptable solutions for addressing integrated agricultural irrigation water & plant nutrition management, respectively, the number one and two critical unmet needs in crop/food production worldwide. Successfully identified major needs and opportunities, and provided consistent excellent solutions in irrigation and fertigation in agriculture and key non-crop segments in the Americas, and also Asia, Europe and Australia.

Projects & Accomplishments:

Focused efforts targeting agricultural regions with increasing critical unmet needs regarding irrigation/ fertigation management, and led the selection and strategic product/business development to provide successful solutions, based on a full understanding of agro-economic and environmental factors, cost/benefits and practical use factors.

Provided very consistent successful results optimizing integrated irrigation/fertigation management obtaining important irrigation/fertilizer savings (20-50%), significant yield increases and improved produce quality (5-100%), and higher financial returns, with all leading/influential growers, in various high value crops and different local and international growing regions.

Effectively led a team of 20 internal scientists and 100 plus international specialists in close cooperation with the scientific and regulatory staff from international agrochemical, pharmaceutical and produce clients to provide effective and reliable field/lab studies, study reports, regulatory consultancy, and competitive and differentiated services. Left position due to scientific staff members and lab director leaving, further increasing challenges of meeting clients’ requirements, without on-hand solutions.

Projects & Accomplishments:

Conducted meetings with key Brazilian regulatory authorities, major regulatory affairs specialists, multi-national agrochemical companies, and leading local and international private field and lab research consultants to reaffirm creation of the JRF Brazil that projected service contracts worth $5M.

Supported international scientific communities with regional and global projects relating to good agricultural practices, and played a key role in building the business of AgroFresh Inc, a start up that included 60 specialists and global sales of over $800M in the post-harvest produce market segment. Transitioned to TyraTech Incorporated to manage the company’s international business development initiatives after the Agricultural business was sold to a multinational company.

Led and managed the successful commercial launches for the novel Molt Accelerating Compounds (MAC), insecticides, systemic and contact fungicides, herbicides and spray adjuvants.
