Fire Safety

Ensures and performs Fire Risk Assessment of the building

Ensures that all fire prevention, detection and alarms suppressive and firefighting equipment are inspected and maintained periodically.

Conduct and quarterly fire drills and emergency evacuation drills

Chemical Safety

Duties include updating and equipping each floor with Safety Data Sheet

Ensuring that all chemicals used in the facility are appropriately labelled.

Prevent accidental spills of chemicals by enforcing the use of appropriate lids.

Radiation Safety

Occupational Safety

Conducting training on accident prevention. Conduct all accident investigation and writes recommendation.

Ensure that trip and fall hazards are prevented.

Monitor construction and remodeling activities for staff’s safety.

Ensure proper hazard communications are posted where necessary


Part of my duties include ensuring that staffs are trained in proper posture when lifting, sitting and assuming various task positions. Ensuring and encouraging upper management to design work stations, work desk and tables are designed or redesigned to support workers health. Also ensuring that ambient lighting of the area is conducive for workers sight and vision.

Industrial Hygiene functions

Monitoring air quality index both indoor and outdoor before resumption of work daily to determine if the air quality is safe and conducive for task.

Measuring noise level when works are performed to ensure that hearing impairment does not occur.

Evaluation of Airborne particulate by conducting an instantaneous Area sampling by using a direct-reading Aerosol meter.
