Assess patient care at Orlando Regional Medical Center, a level three trauma hospital. Experience in charge nursing, preceptor, cardiology with telemetry, observation and post anesthesia care unit departments. Duties included providing patient care, assessments and critical thinking to patients ages 18 and older. PACU patients included all surgeries from head to toe from age teenage to elderly, from elective, non-elective and trauma. Charge nurse duties included supportive care of the nursing staff to provide evidenced based care and assessments to the adult population in the cardiac and PACU departments. Precepting duties included mentoring new and experienced nurses to both the cardiac and PACU departments.
