Classic Home Carpentry Contractors

Built out entire subdivision in Bethesda Maryland 47 homes of various models. Worked with equal partner and ran 6 work crews with a payroll of 32 employees. Built for same company 17 Custom homes in Avenel, Potomac Maryland. Dissolved partnership due to recession.. 1989 - 2004

Started custom woodworking operation employing 4 carpenters in the field and 1 in the wood shop. Split duties with shop worker. Designed and built custom cabinetry, staircases, office suites, kitchens, bump out additions. Most of my work originated from Interior Decorators, Designers, Architects, and referrals.

2004 - late 2007

Steady work building additions for homeowners, friends, builders and Architects. Worked primarily in upper Northwest DC and Montgomery County Maryland. Mortgage meltdown gutted my business.

2007 - 2013.

Worked primarily on my own finishing basements, kitchen installations, small additions and handyman busy work

2013 - 2016

Mostly work on my own performing handyman services to homeowners. Occasionally performing complicated framing tasks for former employees now in business for themselves. Picked up sizable cabinetry and trim projects as well as installing replacement doors and windows for Pella, Weather Shield, Jen-weld, and Marvin. 2016 - 2017

Enrolled in community college to ramp up computer skills. Took Timberline Estimating, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Chief Architect, Auto Cad 2012. 20/20 Interior design software, and online Excel course. Fairly proficient in Xactremodel estimating software. Been unemployed full time since January 2018. Occasionally pick up small jobs. Looking for steady stream of income
