1. Boustead Penang Shipyard Sdn Bhd (October 2017 - Present) Lumut, Perak, Malaysia.

Position: Technical Executive – Piping and Equipment Designer Working with outfitting team for 3D pipework and equipment modelling for Royal Malaysia Navy

(RMN) Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) project using AVEVA Marine (PDMS).

• Perform piping routing plan and piping arrangement with considering those operability, maintainability, and flexibility.

• Re-route pipe to avoid major clash and make sure the connection is correct based on latest P&ID.

• Ensure specification, piping code and regulation for design to carry out piping design are fully adhered.

• Participate with the design review with Technical Assistant from Naval Group.

• Produce pipe penetration and isometric drawing using AVEVA Marine Drafting and Isodraft.

• Develop 3D model for all equipment onboard Littoral Combat Ship.

• Ensure the 3D model dimension is correct based on latest IGD/isometric drawing.

• Consider the maintenance space, door opening, electrical and mechanical interface, detail equipment fixing, weight data and centre of gravity of all 3D model.

• Converting 3D model to TMPL for arrangement study of the equipment onboard ship. 2. BHIC Submarine Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (October 2016 – October 2017) Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

Position: Technical Executive – Mechanical

Performing a highly skilled maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair work on mechanical systems and installations during maintaining (preventive and corrective) RMN submarines. Mechanical work may be performed in several areas including high pressure hydraulic system, high pressure air system, auxiliaries’ system, piping system, weapon system and mast system and other work involves technical application of mechanical systems.

• Coordination of maintenance operations including specification of work, technical documentation, manpower and tasks duration for REFIT KD TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN Royal Malaysia Navy (RMN) Scorpene Class Submarine according to the Work Breakdown Structure


• Coordinate the tasks performed by Qualified Submarine Technician to achieve customer requirement and satisfaction.

• Management of submarine mechanical equipment and tools required for maintenance tasks.

• Ensure the all mechanical equipment must be serviced, repaired and tested according to specification.

• Working closely with French counterpart from BDNC/DCNS for Transfer of Technology (TOT) in specific maintenance task and knowledge about the submarines.

• Assemble, install, test and maintain mechanical installation, equipment, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

• Perform pressure test, leak test, strength test, water tightness test for mechanical equipment that dealing with high pressure hydraulics, water and air.

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components by interpret the technical drawing.
