Coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and employee services for SoNoted, a technical, corporate, and non-exempt staffing and consulting firm. Work with senior management to create and document HR policies and procedures; recruit contract personnel for clients' projects as well as internal employees.

• Manage and maintain confidentiality of personnel records; disseminate benefits enrollment paperwork and handle workplace issues for non-exempt personnel.

• Play a key role in ensuring the successful management HR office for 100+ employees, contractors and sub-contractors supporting positions at various Fortune 500 companies including General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), Basys, OATH (a Verizon Company), iJet, Carefirst, Rovion, etc.

• Work with payroll department to inform them of new hires, demographics, and pay rates. Email employees regarding missing hours information in internal proprietary web-based timetracking system

(TimeTracker).

• Work with senior management to structured and implement programs and policies in the areas of training, compensation for new hires, health care package distribution, new-employee orientation.

• Perform and document procedures on performing background checks through Sterling Info Systems as well as client's background check portal.

• Perform and document procedures on performing instant drug screen through Quest Diagnostics.

• Use Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook to reformat resumes, prepare offer letters, and maintain placements/submissions tracking.

• Administer online skills testing using Prove-It's for new hires.

• Collect new hire paperwork to include I-9s, State Tax forms for multiple states, Offer letters, Health Care enrollment, citizenship documents (passports, driver's licenses, etc.).

• Act as E-Verify Administrator to e-verify all W2 new hires to ensure US work eligibility.

• Effectively act in Account Manager capacity and communicate with clients regarding new openings, position specifics/requirements, position durations, rates, locations, etc.

• Review internal and external job descriptions for multiple state placements and posted positions on multiple job boards including Monster, Dice, Indeed, etc.

• Close salary offers at both the exempt and non-exempt level.

• Mentor and train interns.
