● Responsible for reviewing information related to a new claim. Communicate with injured workers, employers and medical providers.
● Conduct prompt and thorough investigation of case facts and circumstances. Interprets and applies appropriate statutes and regulations.
● Process M164 forms as per CO state guidelines, Proactively manages claim, while working with primary occupational providers, Nurse Case Managers, and diagnostic facilities.
● Document and communicate all claim activities timely and effectively and in a manner which supports the outcome of the claim file. Respond to all incoming mail, emails, telephone calls and faxes from providers and injured worker. Take required action to quickly respond.
● Review physician reports of permanent partial disability evaluations to ensure accuracy in accordance. Ensure prompt and appropriate processing of disability benefits.
● Present cases of possible permanent total disability to the primary treating occupational provider.
● Liason to my employer and occupational physicians, and outside clinics to maintain excellent communication between everyone involved. 4
