Product Development: Re-engineered the design of 450-ton Injection molding machine making it compact, vibration free, and ergonomically acceptable. Performed FMEA and calculated OEE for the same and implement OMS changes in the assembly line. ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM DESIGN: WORM DRIVE, Pullman, WA, Jan 2017 – June 2017

Architected an authentic worm drive employing SolidWorks software and researched the characteristics for various components based on application.

Steered the 3D printing of the parts by applying FDS. Focused on the material costs of $6, time allotted for the print task, surface roughness, the resolution, and general operational force needed from the parts.

Correlated it with real world worm drives utilizing materials and properties costing $80. Results proved to be comparable properties slashing expenditures by 92%.
