Ornua Irish Dairy Board (Ornua from Ireland acquired a 75% interest in Al Wazeen Trading LLC (Al Wazeen) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in October 2013.), as Production & Procurement Manager

Managing New Cheese Product trials, commissioning process plant, machine installation, managing manpower & producing various types of Cheese Product (Feta Cultured, Feta GDL, Dairy & Non-Dairy cream & Labneh Cream Cheese) as per best quality of good brand customer’s satisfaction and planning daily production lines to meet customer orders / forecasted orders in line with customer.

In Present Ornua Company, having experience on GEA processing unit, Primodan filling machine & Flexi fill packing machine etc. During installation time, also having working experience with GEA technical person, Primodan & Flexi fill technical person to install the new cheese project & shared the knowledge with each other. In Saudi Ornua, Capacity of new plant is 40 MT/Day.

Role:

Planning production to include scheduled breaks, maintenance and production line cleaning.

Contributing in rescheduling production planning on actual order change.

Collaborating with internal departments on product, quality & stock levels to ensure efficient planning & maximize production after changing production line.

Arranging labour to ensure requirements are met & attending weekly meeting with production supervisors & labour.

Analysing production plans vs. actual daily.

Managed New Product trials, commissioning of process plant, machine installation, managing manpower & producing various types of Products (Milk, cream processing, Milk standardization, Casein & Lactose process section & dryer section handled, whey processing unit handled, Cheese manufacturing unit handled etc in my total long 8 years’ experience) as per best quality of good brand customer’s satisfaction and planned daily production lines to meet customer orders / forecasted orders in line with customer.

Career Timeline

From previous Schreiber Dynamix dairy, added experience are in my career likes on milk processing different unit’s & auto CIP station installation & project completion regarding with Tetra pack supplier. During team manager responsibility in Pre-process section on 2014 year, handled this Tetra project as a key person & established processes for smooth production run with help of Tetra pack technician. Also other experiences were on Westphalia, IDMC, GEA related all equipment’s to run for production in different section in different times. In Schreiber Dynamix, A) handled 30 MT/Day capacity of casein Dryer, along with Westphalia Decanter, Disintegrator, Shifter, Fluid Bed Dryer etc. B) handled 50 MT/Day capacity of SMP dryer, Fluid Bed Dryer, Shifter, Bag house chamber with filter, C) handled process lines, Westphalia & tetra pack milk separator, PHE (10 KL, 15 KL, 20 KL & 25 KL for different product as per production demand) etc. in Pre-process section.

Role:

Acted as Coordinator/Production Team Manager of Production in Pre Process Section; achieved production targets within time and cost parameters.

Managed shift including shift takeover from previous shift, checking availability of material, manpower allocation and ensured GMP on shop floor.

Prepared Production Plan and regulated workflow to ensure maximum use of plant capacity and requirements at optimum cost.

Provided training to team staff members about health & safety environment & food quality maintain in their own section.

Assured delivering less average stoppage of section’s to boost up for proper function for daily production shift time

Monitored & handled biggest raw procurement section of Milk Reception as Shift Coordinator from various bulk cooler (Private & own Bulk Coolers) & received in raw milk silos depend of processing of milk.

Made prior shift planning of milk processing with 10 KL, 15 KL, 25 KL Pasteurizer with Separator, Bactofuse & cream PHE etc., along with CIP of all those equipment’s timely(To keep in mind as better OEE achieved on daily basis).

Calculated required manpower for all sections before 15 minutes start of any shift & provided those requirement to HR as a Shift Coordinator’s one of responsibility. During morning shift time, made a day prior manpower plan of whole company discussed with each department & that sent to HR department to get fresh labour daily to avoid any overtime.

Transacted & confirmed material transaction through ERP Oracle (U.S.) Application use.

Highlights:

Successfully saved raw materials wastage (Casein Fines) and recovered it from drainage by 5% in 2009

Recovered Lactose Crystals 5% extra (50%) than previous year’s record (45%) from final M/L Tank in process section as further wastage which needed more ETP treatment. That means in another word saved cost & improved raw material from wastage.

Supervised inspection of raw material to improve raw material losses in different process area by 55% against 45% for lactose process & achieved 96% against 91% for Casein process on 2014

Executed quality improve projects in Lactose section within time by taking initiatives such as:

oImproved quality result of WPC (nil coliform result from silo batch).

oInstalling new cluster valve, discarded using manual hose for transferring milk & CIP purpose & validated CIP program of Silo with cluster valve to get nil coliform result.

oReceived better result of microbial issues (which brought down standard level) from cream as raw material product for butter by fully automated process system developed for this sensitive product.

Trainings / Certification

Attended Leadership Training for three consecutive day’s session & received successfully passed Leadership training certificate by Ornua in 2018.

Took part in Ornua’s yearly Health & Safety Conference in Dublin, Ireland on December-2017 and visited Ornua’s famous Dairy Plant “Kerry gold”.

Achieved BRC AA+ certificate consecutively on 2017 & 2018 Year. Saudi Ornua also achieved/passed audits by valuable big customers such as YUM, Almarai, & Saaddedine and so on within two years.
