Designed Microprocessor(Z80 and 68000) based hardware and wrote firmware for microprocessor based SCADA Systems. Designed micro programmed State Machine digital controllers for substation SCADA Systems. Designed, Tested and release to manufacturing DC-DC Buck Converters and LDO Converters that provided power to Circuit Cards (typically 5V, 50 – 75 watts). Converters were PWM, using IGBT and MOSFET transistors. Provided PC Layout / parts placement and ground plane layouts; also EMI mitigation. Also specified inductors ( mostly toroid’s )
