Construction Superintendent responsible for coordinating and scheduling crafts for construction activities at the Nevada National Security Site and the Department of Energy facilities located in North Las Vegas. I was responsible for implementing, executing, and closing out Activity Level Work Documents, managing and approving time for Sheet Metal Workers and Teamsters. Direct coordination with Project Managers, Facility Managers, and Planners for developing and completing work on time and within budget constraints.

SWIFT Transportation, Jurupa Valley, CA 2014 -2016

Professional Commercial Operator

Operated a tractor with 53’ trailer to pick-up and deliver freight to customers on time throughout the United States. Dispatch planning includes calculation of miles required to travel to make appointed pickups and deliveries to meet customer needs. This takes into account Department Of Transportation requirements for Hours of Service and various state Bridge Laws to preform duties safely and legally. Hired to work on a 13-phase project of newly constructed military housing, which included daily inspections and walk-throughs with government officials. Worked with the Project Superintendent in coordinating, correcting and repairing identified deficiencies with subcontractors. Managed the punch list crew to repair housing framing deficiencies. Documented and photographed deficiencies and progress of repairs to ensure plans and specifications were met to eliminate any question of compliance or correction prior to advancing to next phase of construction.

Coordinated with architects and structural engineers to resolve outstanding issues for this design-build project. Worked directly with Clark County Building Department Inspection Officials to ensure that designs met or exceeded code requirements.
