Upgraded BMI PLC system to SIEMENS S7-200 with CPU224, TD200 Operator Panel, Analog input card EM231 (4 channels), Analog output card EM232.

Hot Air Sterilizer / Dryer (SAMI, Pakistan)

Mitsubishi PLC FX2N with GT designer HMI, LG Monitor (Touch Screen), Dell PC (Branded) Using PC based system for operation and 72KW Thyristor Power Regulator for controlling temperature were used in the project.

Aeromatic FBD, (SANOFI AVENTIS, Karachi, Pakistan)

Upgraded Allen-Bradley PLC based system to Siemens PLC system. Using Siemens PLC S7-200 “CPU226” with Protool HMI Software, Analog I/O card EM235, Digital I/O card EM225, OP270 as Operator interface and Profibus protocols for communication b/w PLC and OP270.

Powder Filling, (BAYER, Karachi, Pakistan)

S7-200 “CPU224” Siemens with TD200 as operator interface, Powder level sensor, VLT Micro Drive (FC 51) for Vacuum Pump were used.

Vial Washing Machine, (PHARMATEC, Karachi, Pakistan)

S7-200 “CPU224” Siemens with Digital output card EM222, SV-iG5A inverter to control the speed of conveyor and TD200 operator interface were used.

Autoclave & Dryer, (BOSCH, Karachi, Pakistan)

Instruments such as GE-FANUC LM90 Micro PLC with digital output module, Cimplicity HMI, Dell PC (Branded) and 60KW Power regulator for regulating the heater power were used.

Powder Filling, (SAMI, Karachi, Pakistan)

S7-200 “CPU224” Siemens with Digital output module EM222 and TD200 for Operator interface and Incremental encoder to control the weight by count per revolution were used.

Installation and Calibration of Pneumatic and Electrical. Using Omron Process Controller “E5AX-A “ for controlling the flow of steam through the steam coil, I/P converter for controlling air flow through steam coil and Honeywell Recorder for recording the process temperature.

Fedegari Autoclave, (Bristol-Myers Squibb Karachi, Pakistan)

Upgraded Siemens Controller “CPU1643033” base system to Siemens PLC system. Using S7-300 “CPU313C”Siemens with Digital input card SM321, Digital output card SM322, Analog input card SM331, Analog output card SM332, Micro memory card, Dell PC (Branded), LG Monitor (touch screen), HP Printers and WinCCFlexible HMI. Using PC based system, CP5611 Card for communication with PLC using Profibus Protocols and designing F0 based sterilization in this autoclave.

DI tank level Control, (GSK, Karachi, Pakistan)

The temperature and level were controlled by using DB500 Chino Process Controller. Thermocouple and 4-20mA level transmitter were used for reading temperature and tank level.

Dry Powder Filling and Mixing machine, (BASF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY, Karachi, Pakistan) S7-200 Siemens “CPU224”, Weighing Indicator “N320” for measuring the weight, SV-iP5A inverter for Mixer Motor, SV-iG5A inverter for Conveyor Motors and Process controllers for different process control were used.

Oil filling machine, (SHELL PAKISTAN)

S7-300 “CPU314” Siemens with function module FM350-2, Digital output card SM322, Digital input card SM321, Analog input card SM331, Digital I/O card SM323, SV-iG5A inverters for 8 filling pumps and one conveyor, Omron Incremental Encoders for feedback from the pumps, “TP 177B color PN/DP” as Operator Panel, Omron 3G3EV-inverter to control the speed of diving nozzle motor and “EJA 110A” level transmitter was used to measure the oil level in the tank etc.

Coating machine, (PHARMEVO, Pakistan)

S7-200 Siemens “CPU226” with Winccfelxible HMI software, digital output module EM222, Analog input module EM231 were used for control and TP177A 6 inch for operator interface.

Liquid Filling machine, (TYFONE, Pakistan)

S7-200 Siemens “CPU224” with TD200 were used.

V-Blender & Powder filling line (APF ETHIOPIA)

S7-200 Siemens, designing Star / Delta control, TD200 for Operator interface.

Powder filling machine control by using Relay logic and Electronic controllers. Using LG iG5 series inverter to control the speed of motors was used.

Sanamij Autoclave, (ACI BANGALDESH)

Troubleshooting electrical panel, replacing the Analog card of PCD2.M150 PLC based system, calibrating temperature and pressure.

Block making machine (FASCO GULF, DUBAI)

Using S7-400 with Protool HMI Siemens, Ethernet communication b/w PLC and PC, Profibus communication between PLC and 5 racks of ET200M communication cards each with 4-5 I/O modules, CP441-1 for communication with different racks and weighing module (Siwarex-U) to configure load cells in S7-400.

Hot Air Sterilizer / Dryer (ZISKA BANGLADESH)

Using S7-200 “CPU224”, WinCCflexible HMI with, OP-277 as Operator Panel, 50A Thyristor Power Regulator for regulating temperature and Z204877-0A DPT for measuring differential Pressure at both sides of filter. Designing Manual Operation by using relay logic.Temperature and pressure is controlled by CHINO process controller (GK105-10) in manual operation.

Autocalve ( ZISKA BANGLADESH)

Using S7-200 “CPU224”, with 2 Analog input cards EM231, Digital output cards EM222. Digital output card EM221, WinCCflexible HMI with OP-270 as Operator Panel, Fuji Recorder (PHE-2) for recording the process graph of autoclave cycles. Manual Operation was designed by using relay logic. The temperature and pressure of the chamber and jacket is controlled by CHINO process controller (GK105-10) in manual operation)

Getinge Autocalve, (ACI Bangladesh)

Omron PLC “SYSMAC C120” system was upgraded into Siemens PLC system. Using S7-200 “CPU226”, WinCCflexible HMI with two Analog input cards EM231 AIX13BIT, Digital output card EM222, OP-270 as Operator Panel and Fuji Recorder (PHE-2) for recording the process graph of autoclave cycles.
