Designed and simulated a self-sustaining power plant using Aspen Plus software to convert biomass to an alternative diesel fuel and electricity.
Composed a design proposal that reviewed current industry standard gasification and gas cleaning techniques in order to evaluate the feasibility of the designed plant. The Batch Reactor: Base-Mediated De-esterification of Ethyl Benzoate Sept. 2017 – Dec. 2017
Developed an experimental design and method of analysis to determine the overall rate order, reaction constant, and activation energy of the de-esterification reaction to produce benzoic acid.
